More Talked About than listened to
As I am strolling through some of my many Sun Ra albums, a sudden thought crossed my mind.
Perhaps this was related to me reading a recent ‘Wire’ epiphany by Jerry Dammers on Sun Ra.
Is Sun Ra like Sun City Girls, Daniel Johnson, Jandek, Nihilist Spasm Band, No Neck Blues Band, Captain Beefheart & Wild Man Fischer, an artist more talked about than listened to?
