Forgotten albums that fell between the cracks

This could be part 2 of an occasional series on a very personal trek across the great divide.

Before we all went out the other morning, I treated my wife & younger son to, what I can only describe as one the best albums I have heard, since the complete Jacques Tati soundtracks.

The album is by Karl Zero & its called Songs for Cabriolets & Otros Tipos De Vehiculos. Guarenteed to put a smile on your face before you go out to face the cruel world.

Another favourite of yours truly is ‘You are what you Eat’ (OST).Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary) sings ‘Moments of Soft Persuasion’ & ‘Don’t Remind Me Now of Time’ & ‘The Wabe’, that would make any sane man cry & John Simon’s ‘My Name is Jack’ are sequenced with a superb Electric Flag freakout. Perhaps I love this because I had it on vinyl at a crucial stage in my development.

Bruce Palmer (ex Buffalo Springfield)- the Cycle is Complete’.
